Acer produce four ranges of laptops - Aspire, Travelmate, Celsius and Ferrari. Acer laptops are quite rugged, but as with all laptops the screens can be damaged by dropping the machine or applyig too much pressure too edge of the laptop.
Common problems with the Extensa 3000, 3100, 2950, 2900, 4010 laptops include screen fade to white, dots on lcd screen, flickering laptop screen, vertical lines, flashing display and faded colours.
